Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Only you can decide whether you want to give AA a try or if you think it can help you. Determine for yourself whether or not alcohol has truly become a problem for you. And remember that you will always be most welcome to join the thousands of men and women in AA who have put their drinking problems behind them and now lead “normal” lives of constructive, day by day sobriety.   You can read more about AA here.

Carers MK exists entirely to support the health and wellbeing of individuals who are caring for someone who cannot manage without them due to illness, physical disability, frailty, learning disability, mental health issues, addiction or additional needs.

They support unpaid carers and young carers in Milton Keynes aged 8 – 98+ by providing advice, information, emotional support, workshops and training.

Carers MK support carers from all backgrounds including young carers, parents of children with a disability or an additional need, carers from the black and minority ethnic community (BAME), older carers and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) carers.

Milton Keynes Homelessness Partnership (MKHP) is working together with public, private and voluntary sector organisations for a real change.

With a vision of ending homelessness, achieving homes for all, MKHP’s strategy is to shift the focus from managing homelessness to ending homelessness by wider engagement and a joined-up approach to provide a clear pathway to sustainable housing.
