About The Fund

In 2020 Milton Keynes Christian Centre ran a Be Rich campaign, encouraging its members to donate towards the FORMK 4 areas of concern:

  • Homelesness
  • Poverty and Disadvantage
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Crime and Safety

The campaign raised £6,500 which was then distributed to various organisations around Milton Keynes

The Projects We Funded

Bus Shelter MK: £1,000

to help those moving from the shelter into a new home

MK Food Bank: £1,000

contributing toward the Food Bank Xtra initiative in response to the COVID 19 crisis

The Safety Centre – Hazard Alley: £1,000

to assist with re-establishing, their premises & facilities and being COVID prepared

Child Bereavement UK: £500

to help with their ongoing bereavement support and digital services

Age UK MK: £1,000

to establish a Hardship fund that will assist those eligible for their Independent Living Service Fund  & deemed in greatest financial need

MKUH Cancer Centre: £500

to contribute to the Landscaping & gardening of the unit

MKUH Chaplaincy: £1,500

to purchase 190 Bibles for the hospital chaplaincy and Campbell Centre

MKUH  Children’s Ward:

donation of Children’s Christmas books for those in wards over Christmas 2020
