The Food Bank originally started in Milton Keynes Christian Centre. The Food Bank relies entirely on donations of food and money from local schools, churches, businesses, organisations and individuals and every single item or penny given makes a difference. Businesses, Churches and Community Groups can all get involved in helping The Food Bank in a variety of ways.
MK Community Foundation is a leading grant-making charity sending funding where it’s needed most in Milton Keynes. Their Strategic Goal is to build a resilient, creative, inclusive and philanthropic community. The Foundation are proud to provide support that helps make Milton Keynes a better place to live and work in for thousands of people.
Age UK Milton Keynes is an independent local charity. They have been working to improve later life in the borough of Milton Keynes for over 40 years. Age UK Milton Keynes works with and for older people to make a real and positive difference that contributes to their wellbeing and quality of life.
Prison Fellowship England and Wales is an active member of the world’s largest and most extensive association of national Christian ministries working within the criminal justice field. They have committed volunteers praying for our prisons, supporting the work of chaplaincies and running Prison Fellowship programmes such as Angel Tree.
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) provides free debt help and local community groups across the UK. Their free services, run with local churches, provide practical and emotional support and show people that there is always hope.
