Shenley Christian Fellowship is one among many churches in Milton Keynes, whose job is to represent the Kingdom of God in their locality and in the world as a whole.
Shenley Christian Fellowship have existed since 1989 and are one of several Baptist Churches in Milton Keynes. They enjoy a friendly relationship with other Christian churches on the “West Flank” of Milton Keynes and have worked together with them on a number of ventures including a united Alpha course.
FORMK were able to support Shenley Christian Fellowship through the ‘MKCC Fund’
Recently we gave Shenley Christian Fellowship £1,400 through the MKCC Fund to enhance their community support work by training 10 volunteers to help family support workers visit local families who may be struggling with a range of issues like bereavement, isolation, post-natal depression, and child care amongst others.
Although the delivery of the project was adapted to weekly/bi-weekly remote methods of contact, due to Covid-19, the group has still been able to walk alongside families and provide additional social contacts to help reduce feelings of isolation during what has been an extremely difficult time for many.
