The forMK team recently supplied MK ACT with cleaning packs for 20 families and provided £1000 towards the MK ACT Last Resort Fund
MK ACT is a charity in Milton Keynes which works with over 100 families every day to help them move on from fear and abuse by providing safe emergency accommodation in Milton Keynes for people and their children escaping domestic violence.
When residents move on from the refuge or are placed into temporary accommodation they often have to furnish their homes from scratch leaving little for the basics. Having packs of cleaning products/ sprays/ cloths etc readily available represents money saved on the ‘home essentials’… especially in these covid anti-bac days!
The forMK team supplied cleaning packs for 20 families, so that they’re good to go and ready to get their new accommodation set up as home.
Through the generosity of your giving, forMK were also able to contribute £1,000 towards their last Resort Fund…Watch this space for more info on its progress

£5 a month could provide emotional support to a child to overcome the trauma of witnessing or experiencing domestic abuse.
£10 a month could provide one person to go through the Recovery Tool Kit 12 week course.
