Times Are Tough

We know that many people in the city of Milton Keynes are facing economic challenges this winter. Rising energy prices, increasing inflation, and growing interest rates create uncertain times in the immediate future.

During the October half term 2022, we hosted various family-friendly events and activities to lend a helping hand to families in Milton Keynes however old their kids are.

Brunch And Breakfast-At-Home Kit

On Monday, 24th October we welcomed 39 families, almost 125 people, to our free Breakfast Brunch and pick up a free ‘half-term breakfast at-home kit’ available for all our guests to take away.

Dinner and Games Night

On Wednesday 26th October, over 90 people joined us for dinner and a fun night of games

Family Movie
Night

On Friday, 28th October, over 200 people enjoyed hot dogs, popcorn and snacks, as well as watching a great movie on our big screen and state-of-the-art audio system.

A Warm Welcome Continues

Our building in Oldbrook is open Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm ready to welcome anyone looking for a warm space. We have a large coffee shop area with comfortable seating in a warm environment. There is no requirement to purchase anything from the shop. You are welcome to come to hang out and use the free WiFi.

We are trying not just to provide a warm space, but to provide a welcoming community atmosphere. We want our church to be seen as more of a community space rather than a refuge, so people shouldn’t feel singled out if they come here. This cost of living crisis affects everybody.
